Developer Ready at Dawn and publisher Sony Computer Entertainment are determined to build hype around the upcoming release of supernatural thriller The Order: 1886.

The PlayStation 4 exclusive action adventure video game has a neat little website, created as if it were exploring an alternate reality, featuring a ton of real-life objects "discovered" in modern-day London, hidden away from prying eyes for over a century.

The website also happens to be a pretty good source of information, delivering some fresh hints regarding the more occult nuances of The Order: 1886.

"We made it out. Barely, after accidentally setting off an electrical weapon in Tesla's lab. But not before finding what I went there for. In my great-grandfather’s journal, he talked about 'Blackwater' – a liquid that was said to heal any wound and even more unbelievably, prolong human life.

"Key to the liquid's powers was a special vial. A scarred, weathered vial that I found next to the journal, wrapped in oilcloth," the blurb on the website reads.

The website also features a couple of photographs of Tesla's old laboratory and its contents, delivering more hints about the game, mentioning catacombs and crypts, and the mysterious effects of the liquid and the vial.

Furthermore, there is also a mention of a video coming soon, so stay tuned for Sony's upcoming reveal. The dark substance was originally revealed to be one of the secrets that aided man against the beasts, and there might be much more about it than initially thought.

Its properties might hold much more than just the ability to heal wounds, but we'll know for sure when the game comes out on February 20.
