The development team at Ready at Dawn and publisher Sony have streamed the first gameplay footage taken from the upcoming The Order: 1886 in order to give potential players a quick look at the kind of experience they will be able to play later this year.

The good news is that the quality of the title seems to be already pretty high both when a cutscene runs and when the player is in the open and actually battling monstrous enemies.

The bad news is that despite the streaming format, the two companies have only delivered about 3 minutes of content taken from The Order: 1886, which AllGamesBeta has managed to capture and make available for all.

The Order: 1886 is being created exclusively for the PlayStation 4 from Sony and is designed to use all the processing power of the next-gen console.

The title will run at 30 frames per second and has been in development since 2010, with Ready at Dawn working to deliver an experience that is unmatched on Sony platforms.

The Order: 1886 will task the player with fighting off powerful and merciless half breeds that blend animal and human DNA using a variety of weaponry and the abilities of an ancient order built around the Knights of the Round Table.
