Ru Weerasuriya, the leader of the Ready at Dawn team working on The Order: 1886, says that his team understood the potential of the universe they were working on when they saw the success enjoyed by Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.

He tells Eurogamer that, “We’re not trying to emulate things they’ve done moment to moment. We’re trying to give people that similar sense of entertainment. Entertainment comes in big Hollywood blockbusters and small indie movies – it’s that.”

The idea that players can be taken for an incredible ride appeals to Ready at Dawn and they build their philosophy for The Order around it.

The new title is a third-person shooter that will focus on cinematic moments and will be launched exclusively on the PlayStation 4 from Sony, although it is not yet clear exactly when the experience gets delivered.
