Those who watched “House M.D.” as religiously as we did will surely remember that episode in which Leighton Meester played a teen obsessed with Hugh Laurie's House. They meet again in “The Oranges,” which just got a brand new trailer.

Check it out above in full.

Laurie and Oliver Platt are best friends: the inseparables, they like to call themselves.

They have more in common than years of friendship: Laurie is sleeping with his best friend's daughter, Meester, who also happens to be the object of affection of his son, Adam Brody.

There's also a jealous ex-wife (Catherine Keener) and a mother who will not accept her daughter is seeing a man her father's age, so all the ingredients for disaster or an excellent comedy are here.

“The Oranges” is directed by Julian Farino, and will be out in theaters on October 5.
