The Olympic Samsung m530 Out Now in Canada

Only $49.95 with a 3-year contract

Bell Mobility has released an exclusive Samsung handset, named Samsung m530 Canadian Olympic Team Edition. The phone was rumored, since last month, to come via Bell, and now it's officially released and available for purchase from the second largest Canadian mobile operator.

With Samsung m530, users can watch live coverage of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games (held between August 8 - 24). Moreover, they can also easily check Canada's medal standings, while exclusive Olympic video coverage can be obtained from Bell for a one-time fee of only $8.

The new clamshell comes with the Canadian Olympic Team logo on its external case as well as with an Olympic wallpaper. Plus, two demos are preinstalled: "Sega Mobile's Sonic at the Olympic Games" and "Beijing 2008, the Official Mobile Phone Game of the Olympic Games".

The rest of the features packed in m530 include: a 2.1 internal TFT display with 262K colors and 240 x 320 pixels, a 1.2 external CSTN display with 65K colors, GPS with turn-by-turn directions, Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Full Track Music downloads, external music-dedicated keys, SIRIUS Satellite radio, voice dialing, MMS, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video, Bluetooth 1.1 with A2DP, speakerphone, 50MB of internal memory and microSD card support for up to 4GB.

With a contract agreement for three years, the Samsung m530 Canadian Olympic Team Edition will cost you only $49.95. For those who choose a contract for two years, the clamshell is priced at $124.95, while with a contract for one year, its price is of $249.95. Of course, you can buy the new Samsung free of contract or on Prepay too, for $299.95.
