The designer of Supreme Commander rules out platforms one by one

Gas Powered Games' Chris Taylor (Supreme Commander designer), has a bit of a Wii game coming our way. What, you don't like my way with words? OK, let me put it this way. In February, as 1UP connects the dots, the man said: "You're going to sit back, you're going to relax, you're going to enjoy yourself," while more recently, his thoughts on the same projects are "across platforms, we have everything from 360 to Wii to PC, we have all kinds of stuff going on."

Chris Taylor is depriving the PS3 from the non-genre game currently in the works over at Gas Powered Games, while his CVG interview excludes the PC as well:

"My inspiration came from watching my boys play. There was a real inspiration there and I'm really, really excited to put them down in front of the game when it's far enough along to see what they do. It's exciting because it's taken me many years and it's a long time to get to the point where I make something that different and non-genre specific, because in our industry it's hard to sell a concept that's outside an established genre."

So, let me get this straight. The PS3 is ruled out (I wonder why...), the PC isn't a priority either, so that leaves the Xbox 360, Wii and the DS. It's obvious, isn't it? Ruling out the PS3, yet keeping the Xbox 360 as a launching pad will only make this secret project of Chris Taylor's an Xbox 360 title.

Not exclusive though. The Wii is still in the picture as well.
