The Nokia E65 Slider - Now in Red

There's a pretty good reason why business phones usually come in black or silver. Try to imagine a business mobile phone user wearing a black suit and a tie, ready to close those deals and impress the 'audience' while he takes a hot pink LG Chocolate phone out of his pocket, and you might understand why it's best to use a typical business phone while doing business.

This red version of the recently FCC approved Nokia E65
is by far less extreme than the hot pink Chocolate, but it is in some way curious that Nokia would decide to release a more colorful version of this E-series business phone.

On the other hand, the phone doesn't look half-bad after the repaint and female business users might find the E65 dressed in red quite appealing.

Aside from the change of color, the phone comes with the same features including quad-band GSM or WCDMA 2100 MHz support, a 16 million color screen with a 352 x 416 pixel resolution, 70MB internal memory, Irda and Bluetooth for connectivity and a 2 megapixel camera with autofocus.

The phone runs on Symbian S60 and has an integrated WiFi module that enables the user to make VoIP calls. The MicroSD card slot for memory expansion is also included to suit the needs of users who want to store a large number of files.

The Nokia E65 regardless of the color it comes with is expected to show up in the second or third quarter of this year, and it will apparently be available for purchase at around 340 euros.
