Canada and United States are the only two countries that got the LTE version of the new iPad today. Rogers is the first carrier that informs customers about its offering for those who activate the tablet on its 4G LTE network.

It appears that the carrier has a great promotional deal for customers who do not want to commit to a long-term contract.

Those who purchase the new iPad and activate it with Rogers Tablet Flex Rate Plan will receive unlimited data for the first 2 months.

There’s more to it as the carrier is willing to double customers’ data for the next 4 months, and the offer is getting better and better as Rogers Tablet Flex Rate plans start at just $5 per month and do not require a long-term commitment.

Last but not least, customers who sign up for this plan won’t pay the activation fee with this limited-time offer.

According to Rogers, “each month, the plans reset to the lowest tier but automatically adjust to reflect more usage, only if you need it. For example, after two months of unlimited data, the $5 flex rate plan will flex all the way up to 10GB for just $37 per month for the next four months… if you can possibly use that much!

Keep in mind that this time-limited promotion is available for all iPad models with Wi-Fi + 3G or Wi-Fi + 4G, as well as all such tablet models from Rogers, past and present, including the HTC Jetstream LTE tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the LG Optimus Pad.

Furthermore, those who have already decided to activate their new iPad tablets on Rogers network should know that they will need an LTE SIM or micro-SIM card, which is available at any Rogers store. For more details on the deal head over to Rogers dedicated site.
