Recently, a new a sequel to the Curse of the Pharaoh game has been released under the name of Napoleon's Secret. If you have already tried the first game, The Quest for Nefertiti, you will be surprised to find that the gameplay remains the same, though the scenery has been changed.

The storyline behind Napoleon's Secret continues from where the first game left off, meaning that somewhere in the 1930s you take on a new quest along with an archaeologist named Ana, in search of a long lost treasure. What's remarkable is that this new adventure comes with even more puzzles to solve and objects to find.

Unlike other hidden-object games that we have gotten so accustomed with, Napoleon's Secret comes with a new twist. It introduces a spot-the-difference gameplay every here and there, always keeping you focused on your goals to find the missing objects.

On each scenery there are a number of coins that you must spot and collect so that you can buy various items such as a mirror, a fire extinguisher and even an oxygen tube. All of these will help you complete your tasks because the road ahead is filled with treacherous paths. Remember to also keep a sharp eye for other clues such as missing pillars or statues that you have to search for and place in their rightful place.

Each set comes with great graphic details and sometimes it can be difficult to spot all the items. The great thing is that you can buy clues whenever you have collected enough gold coins, so that you can quickly move on to the next map.

After unlocking each set of maps you will be faced with a puzzle game that you have to solve in order to unlock other locations. For instance, a classic puzzle game that you have to solve is moving four pillars so that they all have the same height or finding the right lock combination to an ancient safe. Either way, you must first collect missing pieces of the pharaoh's mask that have been scattered all across the sceneries and then put them together so that you can begin solving the final puzzle.

The gameplay music has something mystic about it. Whenever you play the game, the background music will set you back in an ancient world where people believed in gods and feared the unknown. Although you might not realize it at first, the music is one of the main things that make the game so addictive.

Combining hidden-object with spot-the-difference and puzzle games, Curse of the Pharaoh: Napoleon's Secret is a very captivating game to play because you never know what secrets the next scenery will reveal. With an impressively wide range of carefully designed maps, the game promises you countless hours of gameplay that you will surely enjoy.

If you would like to get a glimpse of only a fracture of the game features, try out the sixty-minute trial version and if you get hooked, 19.99 dollars is only a small price to pay compared to what the game has to offer.
