Samsung is ending 2008 strong with a new line of phones in the US, the Behold T919 from T-Mobile, the SGH-A777 and the Eternity A867 from AT&T, the SCH R600 Hue II from Alltel, the Saga I770, the Omnia I910 and the Renown U810 from Verizon Wireless.

The Behold T919 will probably make a lot of people interested in it as it’s equipped with a full touchscreen, a 5 megapixel camera, a front facing secondary camera, GPS with voice command, streaming video support, video ringtone support, microSDHC support, consumer email functionality, Samsung's Touch-Wiz Interface and 3G data.

For a reasonably demanding client in terms of technology, you won't be disappointed and you will definitely be pleased with the slim and very appealing design. Lastly, another important aspect, the truly remarkable price of $149.99 on a two-year bid set by T-Mobile.

The A867, this time from AT&T, has already created a not so clear picture in our minds because of all the changes of heart concerning its name and simply because they made it seem a pretty complicated phone from the start, although that is probably not true. Taking a peek in the technological review, we find a 3 megapixel camera, support for microSDHC 16GB memory cards, A-GPS and a 3.5mm headset jack giving you a wide choice of headphones and probably a MediaFlo support.

After considering these aspects and the fact that it has certain (I would adventure to say) charming characteristics such as the easy on the eyes design, the $150 with a contract seem actually reasonable. Another Samsung release at AT&T, the SCH A777 appears to be a downgraded version of the A867, containing a 1.3 megapixel camera and plenty of color options, Bluetooth Wireless technology, Bluetooth Stereo Headset, a Camcorder and HTML Web Browsing. All in all, it presents an older view, here including the A777's classic look.

Alltel is introducing the new SCH-R600 HUE II on which there is little valuable information such as removable covers and a 2 megapixel. There is not much to say about the very simple and not so attractive design.

The pretty well known I770 and I910 are smartphones from Verizon working on Windows Mobile 6.1 OS. Fans of the models will be happy to find that they have a very appealing design. The Renown U810 is a simple clamshell, but information about its specs is scarce for the moment.
