
Bell South Canada and Sanyo Canada have released the SANYO SCP-7500 phone. The handset takes advantage of the EV-DO standard and offers users download speeds of up to 2.4 Mbps.
The SANYO SCP-7500 measures 3.41 x 1.94 x 1.11 inches and features a 1.8 inch TFT LCD color
display. For the multimedia part it offers a 1.3 megapixel
camera
and an
MP3 player. The Full Track Music service allows users to purchase music online and Bell's video streaming service can be used to watch news, weather forecast and multimedia clips. The storage space is provided by 70 MB of internal
memory.

Consumers will truly enjoy the functionality and ease of use of the SANYO SCP-7500 to place clear calls, utilize the '10-4' walkie-talkie feature, enjoy popular music and capture high-quality video and picture images," stated Chris Shannon, General Manager, Wireless Products and Services, Bell Mobility. "Combined with Bell's powerful new EV-DO data network, the SANYO SCP-7500 also provides users with lightening-fast data access and sharing capabilities including high speed internet and TV on-the-go."
The SANYO SCP-7500 is available for a price of $199 with a 3-year contract.
