So large was the success of the “Despicable Me” animation and its sequel that the lovable characters known as the Minions have finally gotten their own full-feature production. Sure, there were some shorts as well as some games, but this is the first time that the Minions take center stage.

The first trailer for the animation “Minions” has been released and it's everything you've hoped, with the mischievous little yellow stubs causing all sorts of trouble throughout the history, as they continually search for the ultimate evil master to serve.

It turns out that finding an evil master is not as difficult as actually keeping said master alive. The Minions serve, in chronological order, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, an evil pharaoh, Napoleon and even Dracula. But somehow, through the bumbling ways of the minions, they all wind up dead.

Even the voiceover points out that “Finding a master was easy. Keeping a master, that's where things got tricky.” The producers decide to single out three Minions from the endless hoard, naming them as Kevin, Stuart and Bob.

The main voices are done by Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm and Steve Carell. The premiere is set for July 10, 2015, so it's going a big summer movie.
