In an interview with Revolver, Axl Rose, the man that just won't go away and let sleeping dogs lie, claims that most of the work on the Guns N' Roses new album is already finished, which would mean that the album can be released very soon.

Seeing as how the current Guns N' Roses album, “Chinese Democracy,” came out a full 15 years after the last album the band made, people were expecting a similar time span between this one and the next studio creation.

Since “Chinese Democracy” came out in 2008, it's safe to say that fans had a good few more years figured out before they started demanding for new work. But Axl would like to set the record straight, “We recorded a lot of things before Chinese was out. We've worked more on some of those things and we’ve written a few new things. But basically, we have what I call kind of the second half of ‘Chinese.’”

Not only that, but Axl claims that they also have ready a remix album, which would point to the fact that his creative juices have been flowing all over the place.

The band hinted that they would start working on the new album as soon as they would finish up their Las Vegas residency, as well as their South American tour, but it looks like that work is just going to be finishing off and touching up the rough edges because most of the recording has been done.

So maybe by this year's end you're going to have a new Guns N' Roses album. Happy?
