Ex pop princess, turned R&B 'Dirrty' girl has now discovered there's another side of her personality that she wants to explore. And everybody who knows even the least amount of information about her can tell that she will do it wonderfully.
X-Tina got married last year to executive Jordan Bratman and retired from the spotlight. Well, not quite, but at least she started wearing clothes again! Too many, some say. She went for a '70s Marilyn Monroe look and lead people to believe that she might actually become one of the good girls.
Just recently she released a single from her upcoming album 'Back to Basics' and announced everybody that, from now on, there will be no more X-Tina, as her stage name will be 'Baby Jane'. Apparently, she told MTV that this new pseudonym would go perfectly with the jazzy sound from her latest album.
Christina will also give up major touring concerts and has already decided that, for the promoting tour of 'Back to Basics', she will sing only in America's smallest venues, like jazz and blues clubs from all over the country.
The latest album of 'Baby Jane' (might as well get used to calling her that) will be available later this year.
