The new BlackBerry Curve has finally been released in Canada thanks to Rogers, its most reliable mobile operator. This BlackBerry combines its classical look with some new, smoother lines, which give it a certain chic feeling.

This quadband EDGE phone carries plenty of amazing specs, but most of all, it's probably appreciated for its innovative new features and for the fact that it's the thinnest full QWERTY BlackBerry ever released - not to mention the fact that it's the lightest one too.

Running on a 512 MHz next generation processor, this BlackBerry offers great email, messaging, and web browsing capabilities. Plus, keeping you connected with your social circle or entertained is incredibly simple thanks to its very easily manageable features.

After consider the 3.2 Megapixel autofocus, digital zoom, flash and imagine stabilization camera, which works great in combination with the 2.4'' HVGA, light sensing (480x360 pixel) display making pictures feel more lively than ever, the Curve manages to create a great first impression.

Next, we have the built-in GPS system, with BlackBerry maps, the Wi-Fi capabilities, the 1400 mAhr battery, and the micro SD/SHDC card slot supporting cards of up to 16GB, which makes us think from the start that this device includes as much as possible. On top of that, the BlackBerry Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, the Google talk and the Yahoo! Messenger, plus many other web applications offer a great variety of services to keep you satisfied.

Speaking of the new release and their own involvement, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Rogers Wireless, John Boynton, declared, "Rogers is thrilled to offer Canadians the exclusive BlackBerry Curve 8900, the smallest full-QWERTY BlackBerry smartphone to enter the market. [...] With its ingenious design and stunning display, leading-edge mobile messaging system and compatibility with Rogers TalkSpot, the BlackBerry Curve 8900 strikes the right balance between serious business tool and social lifeline."

The new Curve 8900 is already available for the affordable price of $179.99 on a 3-year voice and data plan, plus the minimum monthly fee of $45.
