While yesterday, a coroner stated that the death of Anna's 20-year-old son was 'not natural', meaning he hadn't passed away because of a 'massive heart attack', today's reports indicate that there was a third person in the hospital room where Daniel was found dead.
Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamian Police Force, gave a press statement saying that mother and son were not alone in the room where Anna was resting after giving birth to a baby girl. He said that a third person, who did not belong to the hospital staff, was also present, but refused to reveal his/her identity.
Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgil, who performed Daniel's autopsy and declared his death 'unnatural', has also stated the same: 'I can confirm that there was definitely a third person in the room at the time of death and I do know who that person is. But I am unwilling to reveal that information at this time for various reasons'.
Meanwhile, the former 'Playboy' model is having a very hard time in accepting her son's passing away. Her attorney, Stern, told the media that she was so distraught about what took place in that hospital room that she had to be sedated, so that she could be taken to her house. After that, Anna Nicole Smith suffered memory loss and had to be reminded by her closest friends that Daniel had passed away, as she had no recollection about waking up and finding him dead by her bedside.
