The Muppets Respond to Fox News Criticism

In December last year, Eric Boiling of Fox Business Network caused quite a stir when he went on air to say that the latest film “The Muppets” was brainwashing kids against capitalism. Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are weighing in.

Above is a video from a recent press conference in the UK to promote the film, which sees the two address the controversy in the best way possible.

Boiling said that, by making an oil tycoon the film's villain, the Muppets were telling kids that the oil industry was evil.

If that was really the case, Kermit says, they wouldn't be driving fancy cars in the film, would they.

However, it's Miss Piggy's answer that takes the cake. We'll not spoil it for you, so just go ahead and watch the clip.
