“The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” Gets First Trailer

Now that “Twilight” is over, it’s time to start casting your predictions on which will become the “next Twilight.” My money is on “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” which just got a brand new trailer.

Check it out in full above. Below is a trailer documentary that explains how the CGI in the first teaser is not the final one, and how many of the monsters are still to be added because production just recently wrapped.

“City of Bones” stars Lily Collins as the daughter of a Shadowhunter, a very powerful being that is half human, half Angel and deals with keeping humanity safe from all kinds of monsters.

Jamie Campbell Bower is also one such Shadowhunter and he welcomes the half-human, half-Angel girl into this dark, dangerous world for reasons the trailer has us believe have also to do with his taste in women.

Yes, there’s a love story in there as well.

Based on a novel by Cassandra Clare and a script by I. Marlene King and Jessica Postigo, “City of Bones” is directed by Harald Zwart and will be out next summer.
