The Mio DigiWalker is one of the best-known PND brands around the world, providing a wide range of GPS-based portable navigation solutions that tackle pretty much all the possible market segments. And in order to provide the drivers around the US with their latest and most advanced technology, the company has just partnered with RadioShack for the release of the DigiWalker C320, a mid-range PND that provides average navigation functions at a relatively affordable price tag.

The C320 features an impressive 4.3-inch widescreen anti-glare display and preloaded U.S. maps (including Alaska and Hawaii), allowing users to quickly and easily navigate to virtually any address in the U.S. with full voice-guided directions.

Besides the aforementioned features, the new C320 also sports a SiRF Star III GPS chipset with 20-channel tracking and WAAS support, as well as 1 GB of NAND Flash memory (for storage purposes) and 64 MB of RAM memory. Moreover, the device's storage can be boosted via SD/MMC memory cards, since the C320 comes packed with a memory expansion module.

The DigiWalker C320 is powered by a 1300 mAH Li-Ion battery, connects to a computer via an USB 2.0 interface and is quite portable, measuring around 4.21 x 3.15 x 0.91 inches (10.69 cm x 8 cm x 2.31 centimeters), at a weight of around 6.7 ounces (190 grams).

"With our shared goal of delivering affordable, yet cutting-edge products to tech-savvy consumers, Mio Technology and RadioShack are a perfect fit - we're thrilled to partner with them for the launch of this important new product," said Kiyoshi Hamai, North American sales director, Mio Technology USA, Ltd. "The C320 is especially appropriate for this national rollout because of its appeal to both first-time users and GPS veterans."

As mentioned earlier, the Mio DigiWalker C320 is available solely via RadioShack, due to its exclusive partnership with Mio and has a MSRP of around 300 US dollars, which makes it a mid-range device, affordable for both first time GPS users and people who're already accustomed to PND-assisted navigation.
