The player is going to be marketed this year

The "Ministry of Sound" is best known as a record label that produces many compilations each year, featuring many heavy names in the music industry. These compilations include many different genres of music, but primarily the dance, house, and trance genres. In January 2006, the company purchased record label Hed Kandi from The Guardian Media Group and plans to continue maintaining the brand.

It seems that the company continues its attempts to conquer the electronics market, with a brand new release. This time, the company entered a partnership with the ALBA electronics, which is said to have labeled the new MOSMP085 player.

However, the new player looks like it's not going to bring any breath of fresh air, as it comes with the typical features that can be found on the market. Nothing new or at least improved. Moreover, it seems the former player versions revealed a nicer design. That's just me!

Anyway, the MOSMP085 reveals a 2-inch TFT display is enough to distract the owner from the flat design. There are also some extra options integrated in the device, such as the popular voice recorder and a boring internal speaker, in case you feel the need to share your favorite MOS compilation with your friends, at low volume, of course.

The capabilities are nothing to rave about, as the audio ones include the common MP3, WMA, DRM and WAV file formats, but if it matters anyway, there are six different equalizer modes that you can use to customize the player's sound. Not to mention the lyrics display function that contributes to the design. It's a good thing the manufacturers added the ID3 tag support, as it can provide all the information the user needs regarding the artist, album, song and more about his/her favorite music.

As you probably expected, there are 5 preloaded Ministry of Sound tracks and extra two free music downloads. Surprisingly, this version has some built-in memory of 1GB and 2Gb, that is said to feature price tag of 90 and 100 bucks, respectively.
