The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is now available as a final free-to-play game on the PC platform, as Ubisoft has decided to eliminate the open-beta tag from the multiplayer experience and update it with quite a few new things, not to mention a discount for its DLCs.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot has been around for some time now, starting out life inside Ubisoft's Montreal studio as a multiplayer experience that combines tower defense with dungeon crawling and much more.

The title was released for the PC back in 2013 as an early access beta game and quickly went on to become quite popular, despite Ubisoft experimenting rather differently with the free-to-play mechanics and the microtransactions.

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is no longer in open beta

Now, after a lengthy period spent as an open-beta experience, The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is available as a final game via the Steam service.

Players can download and play it for free, but Ubisoft is also offering a discount for the special Infinity Pack DLC that gives them access to all past and future premium content, from the four main heroes, to new traps, creatures, rings, mines, and much more.

Ubisoft thanks the community for its feedback

Besides confirming the new stage in the life of The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot, Ubisoft also thanks fans for their dedication to the free-to-play experience, as due to the feedback from beta participants, it was able to deliver new mechanics like the Open Creation system, not to mention the crafting mechanic, and much more. All beta players will receive some in-game prizes, including the Gassy Knoll Theme, once they start the game up.

Expect to see plenty of brand new elements added to the impressive game in the future, as Ubisoft has big plans to continue supporting it.
