A new version of Modern File Explorer is now up for grabs from the Store, so those of you who have already installed the app should get the update as soon as possible.

According to the official release notes published in the Windows Store, the new build comes with fixes for the wildcard search and file sorting options.

In addition, it now packs Windows 8.1 tweaks, so the application should work like a charm on Microsoft’s new OS release too.

“Allows you to easily navigate your file system using a tree view/list view with or without touch. Copy, move, rename, create and delete files and folders. Also supports sharing so you can share your files with other Windows Store apps so you can email files,” the app description reads.
