EVO: Phase One promises to be a real success, because it can run multiple applications, combining a PC, a media center and a gaming console into a single device.

Envizions Computer Entertainment Corporation plans the launch of an entertainment media center Hybrid called EVO: Phase One for 2006.
The new system will incorporate media center features and will also run gaming console titles. Every EVO will be delivered
with a built-in TV Tuner; the new system will use Envizions's S.R.I (Simulated Realistic Intelligence) and will support HDTV (High Definiton TV) and 3D games.

The company says that EVO: Phase One will blur the differences between the gaming consoles and PCs. The system will run both EVO customized games and PC games. EVO: Phase One will host an AMD Athlon 64 processor at 3200 GHz, 512 MB RAM, an 80 GB hard drive and an ATI Radeon Graphics board.
The operating system of choice will be Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. The system has no optical drive, but a slot load DVD-Burner can be additionally bought.

The EVO will be priced at 579 USD and will be available on the company's site or from retailers. The users will be able to choose from two color models: black and silver.

Envizions also launched last month a standard media center called EVO: Trinity HD3, that equals the balance between PC and media center applications. The system is delivered with a wireless mouse and keyboard, a remote control and a game controller.
