The development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are ready to show gamers who are planning to get the new Halo: The Master Chief Collection how the third full title in the series looks on the Xbox One home console, with a video that reveals the way the game has been improved.

The footage shows plenty of gameplay and gives a good look at the 60 frames per second rate and the 1080p resolution.

Those who want to get a better look at the Halo 3 video can go to the IGN site, which has the video in a proprietary player.

The community was a little worried about the state of the game as included in The Master Chief Collection because it has not received the same amount of attention as the first and the second releases in the series, which have required plenty of work to run well on the new platform.

At the same time, Halo 3 is not as new as the final entry in the franchise, which will probably receive the smallest number of updates.

The video suggests that the experience looks very well and plays like it did when it was first launched, which should be good news for long-term fans.

The future of Halo and Master Chief

Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be launched on the Xbox One on November 11 and those who have been followers of Master Chief since his first video game adventures will then have to wait one year in order to get the all new Guardians experience.

Until then, they will be able to enjoy the Nightfall live action series, which was created under the direction of Ridley Scott.

It will focus on Agent Locke, a famous manhunter in the Halo universe, exploring his backstory as he prepares to try and find the whereabouts of Master Chief.

The actor playing the new character has suggested that he will be one of the protagonists of Halo 5: Guardians and that the game will have a story that will surprise most fans.

Neither 343 Industries nor Microsoft are willing to deliver clear information about the new title at the moment.

Presumably, we will have to wait until E3 2015 in order to get specific details.

At the moment, the two companies have plans to deliver a multiplayer-only beta during the winter, offered to those who buy Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
