The Madness Will Never Stop: New Britney Spears Song

Brit Brit has a new song out. And in case you were wondering if she can rank among the world's top narcissists along the likes of Paris Hilton and Mariah Carey (who hates other people hear her pee, among a million other things), this is the proof we've all been waiting for. Kidding. We all knew Brit is a narcissist and that in fact all the media attention does nothing but inflate her already larger than life ego.

I seem to remember something I once read about a technique that is mostly used in plays: it's called dramatic irony and it's when the audience knows more about the characters on stage than the characters themselves do. Like for example someone preparing to walk through a door behind which we know and they don't that there is a mad criminal holding a knife waiting to kill them. Which reminds me strongly of Britney and this whole circus that is her life.

I mean, just think about it: we all know Britney is a joke. And we all know that behind every door she walks through there's a killer holding not a knife but a camera, waiting to disembowel the already mentally instable deluded former teen pop princess who still thinks she's famous for all the things she once used to do. When in fact she has made us be interested in nothing but the scandal and madness that makes up her everyday life and has absolutely nothing to do with any musical talent that she might still possess.

Just take a look at the lyrics in question and let me know if you think there's anything that can be done to bring Brit with both feet on the ground. And there was me thinking that the trashing she took for her disastrous VMA performance might have woken her up. Big mistake.
