Find the Long Lost Scroll of Wealth of Alexander the Great

Just like any other Alawar Entertainment release, the new Samantha Swift and the Golden Tough hidden-object game has proven to be a fun-to-play title that comes with its own unique twists. There is no doubt about it that the story behind the game is what drives your adventure and motivates you in your quest. Still, I would have to say that the detailed backgrounds and the wide variety of interesting locations make it even more addicting than in the first place.

The main character of our story is Samantha Swift. She’s a young archaeologist in search of the long forgotten and much craved for Scroll of Wealth of Alexander the Great. Since you are the main character, it is up to you to solve all the puzzles and mini-games on each location along with finding the proper items that can help you in your mission. The fact that, at times, you have to solve more than one puzzle on a location will keep you guessing about what happens next, because you can never say for certain when you have finished scavenging for objects in a place.

Although the title has been thought up as a classic hidden-object development, the fact is that you have more puzzles to solve than you would have thought of in the first place. Using various items to unlock certain hidden locations on each setting is a must, especially if you want to explore more of the game. Even if the tips that it offers you are more than helpful, you still have to figure out for yourself what tool to use and where to use it. The title can only tell you this much, that is pointing out where the next item on the list will be found.

Apart from other games of its type, I have to say that it’s perfect for children and grownups alike, mostly because you can have fun playing it and, at the same time, exercise your mind by solving a wide range of puzzles. In the world of hidden-object games, Samantha Swift and the Golden Tough brings little innovations to the gaming and the storyline style, but compensates through high-quality graphics and challenging mini-games.

If you are a fan of this type of titles, I strongly recommend that you try it and, if the sixty-minute trial version of the game has convinced you that there is more you want to discover, then the 19.995 dollars that you have to pay to have unlimited play time might not be a bad investment.
