This one is for the metalheads: you know or at least have heard about the rock legends called Danzig. At least your girlfriends should know their frontman, Glen Danzig (I just know they've dreamt many times about an evening in his company...)

Well, for the fans out there, a piece of nice music news: old and unreleased tracks are coming alive on a 2 CD-set entitled The Lost Tracks Of Danzig. Due to hit the stores on May 29th, the new material is almost finished: some both vocal and instrumental parts still have to be re-recorded, yet expect something very interesting and wicked.

This new release from rock stars Danzig will be presented in a book-like shape containing the 2 discs and a 12-page booklet filled with photos and anecdotes about each song as remembered by Glen. While the tracklist will flow on chronologically, you'll be carried through the whole history of the band and the old fans will have the choice to discover songs which may have made history themselves.

Some of the songs' names are already known: "Pain Like an Animal", "When Death Had No Name", "Angels of the Seventh Dawn", "Crawl Across Your Killing Floor", "White Devil Rise". Also, the new audio material will feature some quite interesting covers like T-Rex's "Buick McKane", "Cat People" from David Bowie, the Germs' "Caught In My Eye" and an acoustic version of "Come to Silver", initially wrote for Johnny Cash.

Well, it's little we can do until the "book" hits the shelves aside from waiting, maybe while listening to some classics like "Mother" or "Sistinas".
