Dreamfall Chapters, the final game in The Longest Journey saga, will be out on all major platforms, including Linux.

The Longest Journey is considered by the gaming community as one of the best point-and-click adventures ever made.

This is a direct sequel for the first two games in the saga, The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. Red Thread Games studio is now raising money to produce the third and final part, Dreamfall Chapters.

According to the developers from Red Thread Games studio, Dreamfall Chapters continues and concludes the Dreamer Cycle and the gripping story of Zoë, the Dreamer.

The original creator, Ragnar Tørnquist, has bought the rights back from Funcom and started the development for the final part of the trilogy.

The game is set to launch in November 2014, on Linux, PC, and Mac OS. If you are interested in the project and you want to participate, just check out the official Kickstarter website.
