A wise man once said "Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity", and how right he was. It's sometimes funny to watch stupid things unveiling right before your eyes, funny and educational at the same
time.
It's not bad enough to be doing something that will most definitely attract the public opprobrium upon you, but to further brag about it is plain stupid. And fortunately for us, this seems to be happening more and more, hopefully in a short while all that'll be left will be the mafia and the people in the high places that'll be the wrongdoers. Kidding. Anyway, at the rate things are going downhill for the category I described above, that might just happen and I look forward to that.
Today, a 13-year old was questioned by the police over an assault at a skate park in the Victorian city of Geelong that occurred more than one month ago. The boy was released pending further investigation. Luckily, the video, shot with a mobile phone camera, made it to Google's video sharing web site and there it was watched by one lawful citizen that forwarded it to the local police.
The clip shows a boy being repeatedly kicked and punched by four other boys aged approximately 10 to 14. The incident was not reported at the time but all the boys in the video have been identified and are expected to stop by the police station for further inquiring as the investigation is continuing.
What's worrying me is the age of the young bullies: it seems most unlikely that if at that age they gang up and beat up another that they'll turn out a precious addition to society in the future. It's not like it's impossible but it is highly improbable if you ask me.
