Lindsay Lohan's father got out of prison this March, after he spent two years behind bars. The reason for his jail time is driving under the influence. Now we know who Lindsay takes after when it comes to law-breaking incidents. But back to the matter at hand.


It seems that in these two years Michael Lohan found God, hence he became a minister. But above all else, Mike missed his children terribly. As soon as he got out of jail he reached out to them. Dina Lohan refused such contact and a custody battle ensued. During this trial, the two did not fall short of accusations at each other.

When presented with this evidence, Nassau County Family Court judge Stacy Bennett ordered the two to stop speaking negatively of each other in front of their children. That's not all, the couple must attend a family hearing on Monday. The most probable outcome: Michael and Dina Lohan will have to go to family counseling. The Lohans must also return to the court room on September 6 for a progress hearing.

Before that happens, the judge ordered Dina to allow Michael to meet his kids on a regular basis. Mike seems to be overjoyed with the decision and added that he should have been reunited with his children a long time ago and that this is the work of God (dude, how corny can you get?).

As for Lindsay, she continues her rehab at the Promises clinic in Malibu. Her stay there will be interrupted by her birthday party that was rescheduled for July 2nd at a location in California. The "Mean Girls" actress will attend the party along with the rest of her family (except her father) and then return to her extended rehabilitation program.
