The Linux Foundation has announced the start of the Holiday Individual Membership Drive and promotion that makes members eligible to win free Linux.com Store T-shirts, hats, mugs and more.

This drive has been initiated for the new members who sign up for individual membership between today and December 14, 2012. They will automatically enter into a drawing to win one of two $75 gift cards to the Linux.com Store.

“Individuals power Linux in more ways than one. It is individuals who write the code and submit patches. It is also individuals who help sponsor the world’s largest collaborative development project through individual membership at The Linux Foundation,” said Amanda McPherson, vice president of marketing and developer services, The Linux Foundation.

The Linux.com Store includes exclusive merchandise and original T-shirts, hats, mugs and other items that reflect “geek culture.”

To sign up for membership, please visit: https://www.linuxfoundation.org/about/join/individual.
