When word first got out that a Lego movie would be made, many assumed it would be a flop because, seriously, how can you make a movie about a toy? The first official trailer for “The Lego Movie” is now out and, surprisingly, it’s actually good.

You can see it in full and in HD above.

The story focuses on Lego guy Emmet (voiced by Chris Pratt), who is mistaken for a “special” and tasked with saving the world. However, he’s quite ordinary and he doesn’t think he’d be up for it.

The film also includes voice work from Elizabeth Banks, for Emmet’s love interest, Will Ferrell for the bad guy, Liam Neeson for the Bad Cop, and Morgan Freeman for God.

However, fans will also get to hear Will Arnett as Batman, Channing Tatum as Superman, Jonah Hill as the Green Lantern, and Nick Offerman and Metalbeard. Batman, for one, keeps trying and trying to stand out in the trailer – and he keeps failing.

“The Lego Movie” will be out in 3D on February 7, 2014.
