Nintendo of America has just announced the upcoming availability of a special edition of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D in North America.

The company announced back in November 2014 that Europeans would be given the option to choose between the standard version of the game and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Special Edition, which would contain a steelbook case, a double-sided poster and a special pin badge.

Nintendo was very clear that this special edition will only be available in Europe, at the same time the standard version will be launched in spring 2015.

Today, Nintendo is back with more with news for Zelda fans in North America. The company has just confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition will be available in North America for the suggested retail price of $49.99.

The limited edition will be available on the same day as the standard version

It looks like this time North America might be getting a better special edition of Zelda game. The Limited Edition bundle contains a collectible Skull Kid figurine, and will be available at select retailers on the same day as the standard version of the game.

Once again, Nintendo did not disclose the exact release date of the game, but stated that the launch date would be announced “at a future time.”

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is aimed at “a new generation of fans” and follows in the footsteps of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, a masterpiece praised by both players and critics.

In the upcoming Zelda game, players will once again solve puzzles, battle enemies and control time to help Link save the mysterious world of Termina and its inhabitants from being crushed by the moon.

Since Nintendo has already announced both special edition for the next Zelda game, news about its release date should be coming very soon as well, so stay tuned for more on this one.
