The Last of Us was developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony and was offered exclusively on the PlayStation 3 home console.

The title was praised on launch for both its complex story and the unique game mechanics and a downloadable content pack called Left Behind was delivered in time for Valentine’s Day this year.

Naughty Dog has already said that it is working on another piece of DLC that will arrive later in the year and will expand the multiplayer side of the game.

At the same time, the studio has suggested that it is brainstorming a number of ideas for a sequel, but that it is not sure at the moment if it will ever develop one, even if the original has so far managed to sell more than 6 million copies.

Naughty Dog has already said that it is working on a new Uncharted title for the PlayStation 4, which might be officially revealed as early as E3 2014.

Papers, Please is an unlikely candidate for fame as it asks gamers to take on the role of a border guard who needs to compare data and characters in order to make sure that he does his job right and can provide for his family.

The game managed to move more than half a million copies and offers excellent political and social commentary.
