14 DAY TRIAL // Neil Druckmann, the creative director of The Last of Us, has implied that the company is already working on a sequel that will be focused on main characters Ellie and Joel.
The developer stated during an Ask Me Anything session on Reddit that, “We're playing with some ideas, but no direction has been set yet for the next game.”
He offered no more details on what fans of the game might expect or when a sequel might be officially announced.
The creative director also said that the team was hard at work with the first of three promised downloadable content packs for The Last of Us.
He added, “News is on the way about the first DLC drop. Should hear about it this month.”
The Last of Us has been widely praised for its story and the emotional payload of its ending.
