Naughty Dog has confirmed that The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 will include the recently announced Grounded Bundle DLC but won't feature any sort of cooperative mode or add-on, as it wouldn't fit with the Factions multiplayer.

The Last of Us came out last summer and delighted plenty of PS3 users through the story-based single-player campaign that focused on two survivors, Joel and Ellie, as well as with its Factions competitive multiplayer mode that tasked users with surviving in online battles and taking care of their virtual allies.

Naughty Dog has recently unveiled that The Last of Us will appear as a Remastered edition on PS4.

Now, it's just revealed on the PS blog comments section that the Grounded Bundle DLC, which includes a tougher Grounded difficulty for the campaign and the Reclaimed Territories map pack, will be a part of the Remastered version for PS4.

What's more, Community Manager Eric Monacelli has also said that there will be no sort of cooperative mode or DLC included in the PS4 edition of the game, as the Factions multiplayer mode is imagined as a competitive experience.

The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 is set to debut this summer, so expect to hear a bit more about it until then.
