The Last of Us: Remastered, the PlayStation 4 version of the already classic title from developer Naughty Dog, is once again at the top of the United Kingdom video game chart and might spend another week there before September finally starts to bring in some major game launches.

The title has received increased resolution and a better frame rate for the new platform, and gamers who pick it up are able to also enjoy all the downloadable content that has been launched so far, with more DLC for multiplayer set to be offered soon.

At the same time, Naughty Dog is encouraging the community to enter a Photo Mode contest in order to showcase their best shots taken in the game and then shared using the special button on the PlayStation 4.

At the moment, only North American gamers are able to participate, until September 5, and it seems that after that date Sony Europe will launch a similar event.

Watch Dogs, the open world action title from Ubisoft, is once again in second place for the weekend that ended on August 16, and gamers might soon also get more content for it, which is apparently designed to take them to an entirely new city.

The last place on the United Kingdom podium is occupied by Minecraft: The Xbox 360 Edition, according to UKIE, which has managed to climb up two places, probably because more content is set to be delivered for the user-driven experience.

The Mojang-made title will soon also get launches on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 as soon as Microsoft and Sony finish with the certification process.

Call of Duty: Ghosts, the first-person shooter from Infinity Ward and Activision, has also received a solid boost in order to get from the eighth place to fourth, and the PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft is in fifth place, coming from seventh.

The LEGO Movie Video Game is in sixth place for the week and is followed by FIFA 14, the football simulation from EA Sports, which has seen a big drop from fourth, just as the fan community is starting to get hyped for the next installment in the long-running franchise.

Grand Theft Auto V, from Rockstar and Take Two, is in eighth place and Battlefield 4 occupies ninth.

The United Kingdom video game chart is closed down by Titanfall, the shooter from Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts, which will get access to a third piece of DLC, called IMC Rising, before the end of the year.
