The development team at Naughty Dog and publisher Sony are announcing that the Left Behind downloadable content for The Last of Us now has an official launch trailer, designed to show off the level of emotion included in the DLC.

The company states, "We wanted to dig deeper into the events that transformed Ellie into the fighter players were introduced to on her fateful meeting with Joel. What does it mean for two teenagers to survive in a world that offers little hope?"

Naughty Dog also thanks fans for their incredible support and lists some of the Game of the Year awards that it has won recently.

The studio also warns gamers that the DLC has plenty of surprises to offer and encourages all fans of the core game to try out the new adventure.

Naughty Dog has already announced that it does not have plans for other single-player content for The Last of Us.
