The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog is quite confident in the multiplayer mode of The Last of Us, as Lead Artist Nate Wells believes the online experience is the best one ever conceived.

The Last of Us is set to deliver a survival experience that has a single-player campaign focusing on Joel and Ellie, who need to brave the dangers of a post-apocalyptic America.

The title is also set to feature a multiplayer mode but, as of yet, not a lot of actual details have appeared, even if some things were leaked recently.

Now, The Last of Us Lead Artist Nate Wells has confirmed on Twitter that the game's multiplayer is the best ever conceived.

His statement isn't backed by any details as he's apparently still forbidden to talk about it due to Sony's embargo.

Even so, considering Naughty Dog's multiplayer experience with the Uncharted series, it's going to be interesting to see how the online mode of The Last of Us will look.
