Tearaway and Grand Theft Auto V each get three awards

The Last of Us, the PlayStation 3 exclusive from developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony, has managed to take the Game of the Year award at the BAFTA ceremony that took place earlier in the evening and has also secured another three prizes.

The only other titles to come close in terms of wins were Grand Theft Auto V from Rockstar and Tearaway from Media Molecule.

Action and Adventure - The Last of Us British Game - Grand Theft Auto 5 Original Music - BioShock Infinite Story - The Last of Us Strategy and Simulation - Papers, Please Artistic Achievement - Tearaway Audio Achievement - The Last of Us Sports - FIFA 14 Family - Tearaway Game Innovation - Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons Mobile & Handheld - Tearaway Ones to Watch - Size DOES Matter Game Design - Grand Theft Auto 5 Multiplayer - Grand Theft Auto 5 Debut Game- Gone Home Performer - Ashley Johnson – The Last of Us

Dan and Sam Houser, Leslie Benzies and Aaron Garbut have been awarded the BAFTA Fellowship this evening, which was presented by Hideo Kojima, for the work they have done on the GTA series and other titles.

Rumors suggest that Naughty Dog is already working on a new title in the Last of Us series, which will be launched on the PlayStation 4.
