Rumors said that Sony would re-reveal The Last Guardian during E3 2013, but the game is nowhere to be seen on the show floor, which is yet another disappointment for long-term fans of the game.

But Shuhei Yoshida, the leader of the Sony Worldwide Studios, says that despite the lack of information, the game is still being worked on and that he has recently visited the team at Japan Studio who are developing it.

The executive tells CVG that, “we really want to be confident next time when we introduce The Last Guardian to the public, so we are waiting for that time to come.”

The Last Guardian was first shown to the public in 2008 and will focus on the relationship between a human protagonist and a creature as they explore ancient ruins.

The game might now be linked to the PlayStation 4.
