Tired of wearing annoying keyrings? Here's Keyport's solution: the 1st universal key fob. The "fob" term probably suggests that it's intended to help those who have the "losing the keys to the apartment phobia" (that's not it? Ok, at least I
tried).
This thing integrates everything on your keychain into one universal access device. It lets you tote your house, office, car, parrot cage, tree house and other lock keys around in one streamlined casing where sliding modules push keys out from the shell. You can shove six of your favorite keys into this sleek light-sized gizmo. The keys are easily extended and also easy to "pack". It could probably double as a defense tool. If you hide it well, you may scare attackers away by extending 6 Wolverine-like claws (and roar too if you really want to make an impression).
The Keyport hasn't been launched yet, but you can sign up for alerts on the site if you're tired of that keyring your ma' bought. Anyway, don't get rid of all your counterpart keys if you do buy this. There is a chance you'll lose this baby too. So better attach a RFID receptor to it, just in case bad things happen. And don't forget about the RFID remote control that locates your keys. One last thing. Hopefully, it won't take you too long to memorize every key's position.
Too bad it falls under the "concept category". Keyport is also working on a built-in remote so you can ditch the alarm remote too. If you want more details, you can visit Keyport's website (beware, "duck design" site, right ahead).
