The Kardashians Get Real with Oprah in New Interview – Video

If they still needed any validation, the Kardashians just got it by having Oprah Winfrey over at the house for an intimate, no holds barred interview that will air this weekend in two parts. A preview is below.

The second video under the teaser also includes a glimpse at the interview, of Oprah talking to Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Rob and asking them whether they believe they would have enjoyed the same success if they weren't so good looking.

The preview reveals that, as far as Oprah is concerned, she will be asking all the right questions – meaning, all those questions skeptics have been asking themselves ever since the Kardashians became the most successful family in television.

For instance, she asks Kim whether she thinks she could have still had a career had it not been for a certain homemade tape, and if her 72-marriage to Kris Humphries was a PR stunt, a question that even fans have been dying to have answered in earnest.

Oprah also sits down with Kris Jenner, the girls' mother and manager (momager), asking her point blank whether she feels like she's “pimping” her daughters by managing their career.

As noted above, the questions are all good. We'll have to wait and see about the answers.

It wasn't just the Kardashians who were nervous about meeting Oprah and doing an interview with her for the first time.

The television personality too had some jitters about the whole thing, especially since she had no idea about what the Kardashians were all about, except for what she'd read in the press.

“I had never met them, nor seen the show. I did a full on 'Kardashian Kram' in preparation, watching major shows from every season,” Oprah wrote on her Facebook page.

“I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon, why so many people love to watch their every move and why so many others love to hate them,” she further said.

“Are they completely ego centered? Are they really 'famous for being famous' or is there something more?” the Queen of Television added.

Oprah's Next Chapter with the Kardashians will air this Sunday on OWN, her own network.
