14 DAY TRIAL // This is some serious accusation and if it turns out to be true, the Kardashian sisters are looking at some major public backlash. Kim, Kourtney and Khloe are being accused of heading out to a party as their father was living his final moment.
The accusation is made by Robert Kardashian's ex-wife, Ellen Person Kardashian, who lived with the famous attorney for months prior to his death. In her court declaration against the Kardashian children, Ellen alleges that none of the children was by his side at the time of his death.
The papers filed in a Los Angeles court were obtained by Radar which quotes her as saying, “The Kardashian children rarely visited Robert once he began cancer treatment… At the moment Robert took his last breath, none of his children were by his side, opting instead to attend a party at Kourtney’s home.”
Ellen had married Robert just months before his death, after he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He died on September 30, 2003, at the age of 59, a mere eight weeks after his initial diagnose.
This marks the latest scandal in the lawsuit between the Kardashians and their ex-stepmom, which they've called “a snake in the grass” on previous occasions. At the moment, there is a bitter legal battle being waged between the two sides.
The sisters are suing Ellen for selling their belongings to several magazine publishers, and Ellen, in turn is suing them for a large number of reasons, from defamation to inflicting emotional distress and public disclosure of private facts.
The step-mom alleges that, despite their current declarations, the Kardashian kids all accepted her and enjoyed a strong relationship with the now estranged mom. At the moment, it's a battle of declarations, and we'll have to wait and see which side comes out victorious.
