Who knew that shouting racial slurs at Kim Kardashian would actually result in a big payday? At least, if you're willing to get your teeth kicked in by her jealous boyfriend Kanye West … allegedly.

TMZ says that the victim of the Kanye West assault case just settled for a whopping $250,000 (€182,940) not to bring the case to court. The District attorney is still looking to make a conviction of aggravated battery, but his chances of bringing the singer to court have just dropped dramatically.

Considering that the victim will now no longer cooperate with authorities if brought on the stand, it's safe to say that Kanye has some pretty good chances of brushing this thing like it never happened, if you don't take the quarter million dollars into account.

The entire incident took place earlier in January, when the alleged victim, an 18-year-old man, addressed racial slurs at Kim Kardashian and also threatened to kill her. This caused Kanye to enter a furious rage and attack the man in a waiting room of a Beverly Hills chiropractor's office.

It's been reported that he hit the guy over the head several times but despite this, he did not suffer any life-threatening injuries and didn't need hospitalization. Now, apart from having his male ego bruised a bit, he's just made himself a handsome sum of money, confirming that getting hit by a rich celebrity is a payout.

It's been reported that initially, the victim demanded far larger sums of money as payment for not pressing charges, who went all the way up to six figures, but Kanye's lawyers negotiated him down to the $250,000 (€182,940), which is still a lot of money even in today's economy.

Kanye West is known for his short temper, which often caused him to utter controversial statements to the press or to engage himself in long rants during interviews and his concerts. This time he's taken things one step further with this physical assault but he managed to pay his way out of this one.
