KDMS Team has made a lot of headlines over the past few days because of their DNS hijacking attacks on several high-profile websites, including the ones of AVG, LeaseWeb, Avira, Rapid7 and WhatsApp. Now, The Jester (th3j35t3r) claims to have identified some of the members of the pro-Palestine group.

The hacker says the KDMS Team’s Twitter account, @KDMSTeam, had initially followed 16 Twitter accounts. He believes some of these accounts – which haven’t tweeted for hundreds of days and some of them even for years – belong to the group’s members.

The Jester also believes KDMS represents the initials of the names and users of the team’s members: Kolmtk, Dod, M4st3r, and S4w.

“Because of KDMS Team’s relatively new presence on Twitter, it is highly suspicious that it knows about, and follows, accounts that have not been active or tweeted for 6 months to over 3 years,” The Jester noted.

After analyzing email addresses and Facebook accounts, the hacker has put all the pieces together. He has determined that the following individuals are likely part of the KDMS Team: Firas Abu Azab, Omar Ashraf, Wassem Ashraf and possibly Mohanad Abudalfa.

Individuals behind the Twitter IDs @white_2_2 and @mohnadk are also believed to be part of the group. In particular, The Jester says @white_2_2 (M4St3r M1ND) is likely one of the key members of the group.

Interestingly, the Facebook account of Firas Abu Azab, who is apparently from Palestine, has been deleted shortly after The Jester published the results of his research on Pastebin.

Check out The Jester’s research regarding the identities of KDMS Team members and tell us what you think. In the meantime, it remains to be seen how the group will respond.
