Poster also drops, is packed with anti-American propaganda

If you liked comedies like “The Neighbors” and “This Is the End,” then you’ll probably love “The Interview,” which also brings together on the big screen real-life friends James Franco and Seth Rogen (and a cute puppy we have never seen before!), on their most dangerous mission ever.

“The Interview” will arrive in theaters across the world in October but, until then, Sony Pictures is delighting us with a first trailer and a hilarious first poster.

First off, the poster: it’s available above and it’s packed with anti-American propaganda slogans, like “We will begin a war!,” “Don’t trust the stupid Americans!” and “Awful work by the ‘pigs’ that created ‘Neighbors’ and ‘This Is the End’” right at the bottom.

The trailer is embedded at the end of this post and presents the plot in general lines. Franco plays a TV host for the most popular celebrity shows, while Rogen is his producer and best friend. By chance, they score an interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un but, as they’re preparing for the flight there and the interview, they’re approached by the CIA and told they are officially on a mission to assassinate him.

As you might have guessed, these two aren’t spies and they’re not exactly skilled killers so, presumably, they will make a mess of their mission. All in all, this looks very promising.
