14 DAY TRIAL // When Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn teamed up to crash weddings, they were like modern Don Juans who could sweet-talk their way out of any situation, no matter how tangled. Not the same applies to “The Internship.”
The latest project to star the two as leads is a comedy about a pair of seasoned salesmen who are suddenly out of a job, and are forced to apply for an internship with Google.
Useless to say, when generations clash, it’s never a happy situation. Wilson and Vaughn’s salesmen will soon realize their business shrewdness is nothing compared to skills of their younger, tech-oriented mates.
That final scene in the trailer, with Professor Xavier, is a killer!
Directed by Shawn Levy on a script to which Vaughn also contributed, the film stars Rose Byrne, John Goodman, Josh Gad, and Max Minghella, and will be out this June.
