It's a well-known fact that the Internet is the virtual world that provides almost any type of information in a matter of seconds. And since there are numerous powerful search technologies such as Google and Yahoo, it's extremely easy to find your information. But this is not necessarily a good thing as a recently conducted survey reveals it. The Simon Wiesenthal Center, an organization focused on racism, made a report which revealed that terrorists are more attracted by the Internet, using it as a very efficient way to attract new members and to promote their actions.

"They are way ahead of the curve in term of using Internet technologies. Right now it's a clear field for the bad guys. There is enough accurate information on the Internet to teach anyone to do pretty much anything," said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, the author of the report according to AFP.

According to the same source, the study included approximately 7,000 websites and other types of Internet content which led to radical Muslim or other extremists.

Well, the Internet is quite the best source of information for the terrorists because they can obtain almost any detail about any place in the world with a simple search query. In the past, it was reported that terrorists were using Google technologies to organize dangerous attacks in multiple areas of the world. For example, the first report came from Basra where the terrorists were using Google Maps to attack the UK troops in the region. At that time, the super giant Google replaced the photos with older ones captured before the departure of the army in the zone.

In addition, several terrorists were arrested before they managed to attack the JFK International Airport. It seems like they were using details provided by Google Earth in order to attack the airport but the authorities managed to stop them before anything dangerous happened.
