After last months amazing DVD sales on Pixar's award-winning animated motion picture, "The Indredibles", the sales dropped causing Pixar's shares to fall 14.7%.

Pixar's CEO Steve Jobs said "The Incredibles" had a "terrific start", selling more than 17.7 million copies by May 6.

Fulcrum Global Partners analyst Richard Greenfield said, in a research note, that "We worry that consumer spending may be weakening, as both box office and DVD sales are not living up to expectations."

"The Incredibles" is not the only high profile animation picture that is having trouble selling on DVD, as Dreamwork's "Shrek 2" shares the same problems.
